Those Nights in Montreal

Those Nights in Montreal by Beverly Kendall is about a girl named Rebecca trying to get over her ex Scott. In the beginning you don't know the reason for the breakup, only that Rebecca is royally pissed off. This book also has romance. This book is recommended for 18+, however, due to some sexual content.

Those Nights In Montreal was one of those books that grabs your attention and makes you not want to put it down. I read this in one day! I really connected to the characters and would find myself yelling at the book when I was annoyed by a character. I recommend this to anyone 18+. It is a great book and it is just the first in a set of three. The final two books are, Always Been You ( coming fall/winter 2013) and Forever with You (coming in 2014). I can't wait to read the last two in the set and after you read this book you will be eagerly awaiting the releases too! Happy Reading!

Since You Asked...

Since You Asked is a book, by Maurene Goo, about a girl trying to get through high school unnoticed, until one day when she accidentally starts her own column. This story is set during one school year. Although I couldn’t connect to the characters, I still found this to be a really intriguing and interesting story. I recommend this book to anyone in high school but preferably anyone in there freshman or sophomore year. Happy Reading!

The Truth About Letting Go

After the loss of Ashley’s father she crawls into a hole and doesn’t want to hear soothing words from people. Ashley decides she wants to be different after meeting someone that helps take the pain of her father away. She starts talking to dorky Jordan and after that starts talking to the new bad boy Colt. Ashley needs to decide who she is and what she wants. Even if it means she has to go down a rocky road to find it out.
I found this book hard to get into at first but once I forced myself to keep reading I was glad I did. This book was inspiring and really well written. It had heart wrenching moments as well as parts that made you laugh. I finished the book in only a day. I needed to find out how Ashley decided her life should be played out. I found myself engaged so much in this book to the point of actually living amongst the characters. This can only happen with worlds that are sculpted by great authors, so cheers to Leigh T. Moore for writing a story for me to get lost in. Anyone who has the chance to choose a book to read should go out and by this amazing book. You won’t regret it. Happy Reading!
